Payment due. You pay, I bake! Payments, in full or deposits are required up front so that I can source your ingredients, spectacular sprinkles, and perfect packaging. Your payment reserves your pick-up date too! 

No show. No show = no cake. Cakes are best enjoyed fresh! Not showing up to the agreed upon pickup time forfeits your order. But take heart - we'll donate to a family in need. Need to reschedule your order? Please reach out 7 days prior to your pickup time.

Full refunds. I can offer refunds up to 24 hours after the payment is accepted. Unfortunately, after that time, I cannot offer refunds as your specific pieces needed for your custom dessert have been ordered. You can move your order to a new date that works for both our schedules.

Partial Refunds. Cake flavor and texture is subjective. You may qualify for a 50% refund if the product is brought back and the quality of the cake flavor or texture is determined to not meet our standards. Cakes must be brought back to us within a timely manner, preferably within 24 hours of pick up - please call or email us promptly to let us know of the issue. Quality determination is solely at the discretion of Pinewood Baking. Please understand that we cannot issue refunds for cakes that have already been completely eaten. Refunds are based on what we determine the quality to be.

Delivery Clause. All orders are defaulted to pick-up only. Delivery may be an option on a case by case basis for an additional fee. Make sure you mention at booking that you're looking for delivery.

Pickup Dates and Times. Delivery and pick up times are set upon ordering. This is because other customers need their cake fix too! You must arrive on time for your pickup, or else you will forfeit your order. 

Change Cutoff. Order changes can be made until 8 days before your planned pickup. After that, all change requests will be under consideration and a small fee will apply.

Inspiration. Thanks a ton for bringing those inspo pictures! They're just that - inspiring. But your cakes/desserts may not be perfect replicas - we'll try to keep it close.

In a hurry? While I can't accommodate all last minute orders, I will make my best effort too. Orders placed with a turnaround time of under 7 days may require a rush fee.

Price Adjustments. All prices are subject to change. Prices are often dictated by ingredient costs. I'm always trying to provide the best tasting cakes to my clients. This also means I can't honor old pricing (because the local grocery store won't honor their old flour prices - darn it).

Product Photography. We reserve the right to use all photographs of the cake for advertising purposes. If you do not want your cake in the spotlight, please let me know at the time you place your order. 

Pictures are worth a thousand words. But they're not always accurate. Colors and lighting in photos may be slightly different than what you end up with.

Order Minimums. I require a minimum order of a dozen per flavor ordered (cupcakes, cake pops, cake donuts) Need fewer? Stay tuned for a popup shop announcement on my socials!

It's All Yours Now. Once you pickup your order, what happens to your cookies, cakes, and other desserts is all on you! Keep them on a flat surface, keep them cool and out of the sun and handle the boxes with care. 

Correspondence.  To get your order just right, I'll need you to reply to my messages within a timely fashion. Questions for me? Please give me about a day or two to reply - I'm usually covered in flour and buttercream.

Allergies. Baked goods are often made with foods that can be known allergens. While I can do my best to accommodate, I can't always accommodate allergy-conscious orders. 

Cottage Food Laws. This has been made in a home kitchen inspected by the Washington State Department of Agriculture. Our kitchen is not nut free, egg free, dairy free, or gluten free. 

Sickness and Health. You're consuming food and with the consumption of anything there are inherent risks. Choking hazards, food illnesses, and allergic reactions are possibilities - albeit, hopefully far reaching. 

Payment. Once you've submitted payment  your order is confirmed. I cannot save spots without payment getting received. It is a first come first serve basis.   

Performance of this agreement is contingent upon the ability of Pinewood Baking to complete the agreement and is subject to accidents, acts of god, and other causes beyond our control.
